Have you all read the news? This morning, I was multi-tasking in my Modern middle eastern history course, checking my gmail, la times, when I must've read 4 murder and suicide cases, and most of these occurring in my County.
Let us please keep these families in our prayers... just a few examples:
Annie Le, a pharmacology doctoral student from Yale who was murdered and stuffed in between the walls of her lab.
A man who drowned his son of age 4.
A woman stabs 2 daughters, later attempts suicide.
Man of 75 is arrested after his wife is shot in head.
Woman stabs her 2 young daughters, critically wounding one, beore trying to kill herself.
Jaycee Lee Dugard, kidnapped for 18 years.
And with all the wickedness that is manifesting itself in today's world, it is imperative that all of us believe in the Truth, and that we not deviate from Him.
John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
People! Place your trust in the One who: Loves you, Provides for you, and brings value and purpose to your life. This passage, as commonplace as it has become, still resonates powerfully. The truth that believers will eternally dwell in God's presence and have a neverending personal relationship with our Maker, Father, Abba, (Alpha Omega/Beginning and End), Messiah, Redeemer, is a joyous truth with which I excitedly and eagerly await.
Until next time, bis dann!
